Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my kitchen in from t of the window.

Time

I believe it was mid day.

Lighting

Nothing special at all in regards to lighting, it was shot with natural light from the window.

Equipment

I used my canon point and shoot camera without I tripod. I literally held my camera as one would hold their cell phone.

Inspiration

I took this photograph while I was learning to use natural light for portraits.

Editing

I darkened the background of the photo to eliminate the distracting background and then used brushes to make the highlights and shadows more prominate.

In my camera bag

I am known for owning one simple camera who is my canon power shot. I do not own any other equipment.

Feedback

The best way to start learning to shoot portraits is to start with natural light.
