Location
This photo was taken at a local park in my hometown. As an amateur photographer who is learning as she goes, I would often run over to this park to capture the stunning sunset shots. This time, I found this great boat parked in the perfect spot!Time
I am a sunset junkie and when I can, I’ll drop what I’m doing to go chase a beautiful sunset! This shot is from a drop and run capture the beauty of the sky!Lighting
Typically iPhones have not done well in low light situations. They are definitely getting better, but additional light can still be helpful. With this photo, I did not need any extra light and love the look of the day closing down for a night of peaceful rest.Equipment
Right now, I only use an iPhone. This particular photo was taken with either my iPhone 6 or 8! People are always stunned when I tell them that the camera I use for my pictures is my iPhone. A good quality camera is important for good photography, but just becoming an expert with the camera you have is a great place to start!Inspiration
The wonder and beauty of God’s creation is what usually inspires me to take photos. I love capturing the artwork of the Master Painter and this photo was no exception!Editing
I believe this was an unedited and unfiltered shot. I typically will bump light, contrast, saturation, and sharpness levels to really display the beauty of the image captured, but I love when a photo turns out with no editing needed! In my camera bag
My iPhone is with me all the time! I also have the Olloclip telephoto, wide angle, and macro lenses.Feedback
Chase the sunsets! Always be on the lookout for the interesting things around you. When you find something that piques your photographic interest, take a ton of photos from different angles, heights, distances, etc. When you look at them later, you’re sure to find a winner!
