This photo was taken at the new Aga Khan Park in Toronto (by landscape architect: Vladimir Djurovic). The photo shows the The Ismaili Centre (designed by an Indian architect Charles Correa) refllected on the poolTime
Afternoon, a few hours before sunsetLighting
I have been told that light & shadows (reflections) play a great role arounf this space. There is a sense of serenity that this effect of light brought for me to capture and share the moment with allEquipment
I use canon 650D with strady hands and waited for the right moment of clarity. I also use Samsung Galaxy Note phone camera to capture at times (their camera is great for bright scenes)Inspiration
The sky clear and crisp, the wind steady, the serenity at the park (noted that the space is close to a busy highway, but the architect has designed it well to create calming effect)Editing
No post processing. As is shot.In my camera bag
I would love to get advanced camera body (5 marks) and L lenses if I can find sponsors and opportunities to make that happen.Feedback
Dont be too technical with nature... visit it a few times and get to know it. When you notice a perfect natural moment cease it by capturing it with love. Get to know the subject closely. I have more photos of this building and the space, I can share... different effects at different times. Thanks for the opportunity
