A very cold winter for here,.-10Degrees daytime ,.never heard of or seen before and the river froze in parts. I thought at the time that being clear and everything was grey-looking that it would be worth a few takes and see what I got. This is one take but I hae tidied-up the near left hand corner to give clearance between the bank and the reflection of the trees

I used a Canon EOS 3 -body(film) Fuji 100 and Canon 24 -70 m/m F2.8 lens with polariser. I also used a Canon G10 compact ,.as back-up

EOS 3? Great camera, always wanted to try the infra red optical focusing but never had the opportunity before everything went digital. Most of my composite work was done on film (EOS-100), scanning the negs and blending in Photoshop.
Always cool to see film being used these days…
