I found out Kauai was the island for the old show, Fantasy Island, and I feel this image fits the fantasy island picture so well. Of course, this is a real image I took, not a fantasy, though the sunset was amazing. I didn't have to do much more than push the colors & saturation a bit in post processing to create the dramatic effect. It's pretty darn dramatic in person anyway. Kauai gives a photographer a lot to work with as it is. Oh, and I highly recommend flying around the island in one of those little Cessnas. Amazing experience.
