A very beautiful photo. The backdrop really helps to define the model's pose. Nicely done!

Location
This photo was taken by the beach, a little location where I shoot often, it was my first visit this year and the weather was cold and very windy.Time
I guess I been coming to this location for approx. 7 years and this is definitely my favourite shot i capture here, all was just perfect, late afternoon light just before sunset the wind coming with the light, gorgeous model braving the cold. It took us only 15 min to shoot 20-30 frames.Lighting
Just natural sunlight coming from my right, no reflectors, I positioned the model on a slight angle and ask her to look towards the light.Equipment
This was shot handheld on a Nikon D810, with Nikon 70-200 2.8 lenses, aperture priority, f4 1/1600 sec, no flash, no reflectors.Inspiration
As I visit this area often I knew the light is always great around that time of the day so as it was a windy day I was pretty sure I could get a fantastic dynamic beautiful portrait.Editing
There was minimal post-processing, I tweaked the white balance/saturation a bit to accentuate the warm tones plus a couple selective adjustments on the grass areas. In my camera bag
On my bag If not both I either have a Nikon D4 or a Nikon D810, Nikon 70-200 2.8, Sigma 35 1.4 Art, 50 1.4, 85 1.4, Nikon SB 900 flashgun, Pocketwizards altho I am mostly a natural light photographer.Feedback
Pay most attention to the light direction, having the light over your shoulder is great to create defenition, keep an eye on the forecast, be adventurous by going out late in the afternoon even with high winds and thunderstorm skies, it's cold out there so have it all prepare in advance by setting your camera and get some shooting ideas together such as poses, camera angles etc, instruct your model well so when you out all runs smoothly. I tend to leave my car as nearby as possible so we can keep coming back to warm up every 5min or so. Long lenses are great for this kind of shots. Have fun out there.
