In the beautiful hills of West Virginia, my very beloved best friend and his siblings shared a final farewell to their precious and dearly loved mom last year. She was a a pillar and a legacy and a profound impact in their lives, as was their dad. They are the most beautiful family I have ever had the privilege of knowing! So rich in so many ways, and so many things that no amount of money could ever buy!
The day after her home going, this photo was taken. It symbolizes her very dear children at a point on the road of life. They could only stop here for a short time; but, they could not stay. She has gone on to be with their dad
. In life, as in the photo, they walk, . . . . . they walk on, . . . . they walk away. But Mommy is NOT forgotten.
As they walk away, the sound of her voice, the fresh aroma of great home cooking flowing from the kitchen, all the family gatherings, all the laughter, the holidays, the grand kids, so many wonderful, cherished and precious memories live STRONG, and live ON, powerfully, and vibrantly in the hearts of each of her children, even as they walk away, . . . . . . . . yet walking on, toward the day when they will all meet again!
