Location
It was taken at my house.Time
Early afternoon, I think.Lighting
The sun was pretty lovely at the moment, specially since the windows of that room are coated with anti-glare paper, it gave the photo a filtered look.Equipment
I used a Canon 600D (T3i) and a Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8Inspiration
The peacefulness of Fernando, my cat. I was inspired by seeing other people take pictures of animals looking ethereal, and I wanted to give it a go.Editing
I can't remember it clearly, but I probably tweaked the color a bit, tried different filters and this purple-ish one looked quite lovely. In my camera bag
My Canon 600D, Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8, that's my baby, the one to go. Also have a Nikon to Canon adapter and a Nikor 300mm, I don't use it very often, but sometimes I take it with me. I have a Youngnuo 560-III with its trigger and a remote control, but I haven't had the chance to learn how to use it on my favor..just yet!Feedback
Use natural light. I had a window at my left coming right from above and a bit behind, that separates the subject from the background giving it an ethereal effect, as if its celestial and pure.
