Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken near where I live outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. It is an older, but common road to travel east to a main road in the next town over. It is "a short cut" that avoids several miles if I would take the main roads that are split highway like roads. It has all the Rural scenery one could ask for.Time
This is early in the morning around 7:00am and on a rare day when we had fog scattered about. It had rained during the night that the wet road shows.Lighting
The lighting here only lasts about an hour at best, once the sun gets too high, all this beautiful light through the trees goes away, as do the reflections from the water on the road.Equipment
Ummm... I pretty sure it was when I was shooting M43 with a Panasonic G2 and a Canon 55mm FL f/1.2.Inspiration
With much of my photography, I try invoking some emotional response from the viewer. All I can is supply the image, each person will have their own reaction according to their own life experiences.Editing
Nothing special, typical basic adjustments, and a BW conversion if I think the image works better in BW.In my camera bag
I don't carry a bag. I am a one camera, one lens guy. I have several lenses, zooms, and single focal length. This image a long time ago, and I had a 55mm f/1.2, 105mm f/2.8 (preset: 1960's), 55mm f/3.5 Micro, 100-300mm f/5.6, and a few more.Feedback
Observe what happens doing your normal road trips, and come back at the same time on a different day if you like the lighting etc.
