Location
The photo was taken at Flamborough Head in East Yorkshire. It was the first time I had visited the place and was completely taken aback by the breathtaking beauty of the place.Time
It was taken on a lovely, sunny morning. Just after taking it I also stumbled upon a curious wild seal. A moment that will stick in my memory for years!Lighting
I loved the reflections in the rock pools of the cliffs and I really wanted to capture the sea stack in particular in reflection.Equipment
It was taken with a Fujifilm FinePix S8500 Aperture - f/8.4 ISO - 100 Shutter Speed - 10/1100 Focal Length - 430/100 I didn't use a tripod or any other equipment.Inspiration
I was surprised at how beautiful the place was, also how blue the sky and water was. It contrasted perfectly with the chalk cliffs.Editing
I didn't need to do too much post production. I raised the saturation slightly and the contrast. I also reduced the exposure just a touch. In my camera bag
If I'm travelling light, just my camera and spare battery!Feedback
A cloudy day would have totally spoilt this photo, so clear weather was a must.
