Oh thank you for this one. My sister and I used to make wishes on these and you captured the essence of that concept in this photo. Lighting is perfection. It's poised perfectly in front of the viewer as though in anticipation of that first gentle breath to set the seedpods on their journey.

Not only is it clear, every little small detail, but to capture the morning light behind to show all these details is amazing. Great photography, one is with nature as you can see you are among the plants. Fantastic phototure

Location
I was on a evening foray to photograph wildlife out on the French plains, I'm a keen photographer and like to do this often in the summer months. I was lying on the ground photographing wild Hares when the opportunity presented itself. The dandelion was in front of me and the sun was setting. it dispersed the light within the seed head so I captured it.Time
It was Evening time, just as the sun was going down. The sky was clear.Lighting
I just wanted the glow, not the sun itself, so I positioned it to be completely behind the center of the seed head.Equipment
I used a Canon powershot SX50 HS, aperture f/5.6, ISO 160, with a shutter speed 1/1000, I had it hand held. Using just the natural light.Inspiration
I thought the sun looked almost mystical through the dandelion, like golden cobweb threads. It begged to be photographed. :DEditing
No. It is what it is.In my camera bag
Normally I just have my bridge camera in my hand, I like to travel light and steal the moment. I find I work better with unplanned spontanious photography. I never know what I'm going out for. ( what?! I hear you cry! ) lol!Feedback
Just pick a clear evening without clouds, find your subject and wait for the perfect moment.
