Sleepy Screech

This little guy I searched for three days, until the third I came upon a group of photographers concentrated and snapping shots at a dead tree. Some where professionals and some where hobbyists like myself. Many where pleasant and I shared in a few conversations with and one lent me his 400 Tamron lense to take this, but alot of the "pros" where quite rude, and almost offended that we where there. Putting that aside I snapped a couple of quick shots and continued on my adventure around Mud Lake as I planned to return as the sun went down. When I returned that evening I was expecting the area to be overrun again, but it wasn't. There was myself and two other hobbyists that had the same idea I had. That night the three of us captured this little guy waking up and capturing some pictures of a lifetime. The waiting paid off and met some amazing new people.

This is an afternoon shot to show what everyone else who was there captured. The rest are to show what a couple of amateurs can capture if you have the right mindset and perseverance. I know this little guy will sit on my dresser for years to come. I shall name him Scuffy!
