Behind The Lens

Location

I was walking around downtown Charlotte,NC

Time

Early Morning

Lighting

The morning Sun cast a marvelous bright reflection on the Glass of this building.

Equipment

Sony A55 Camera with a Sigma 10-20mm lens, and Alta 203ap tripod. I shot this in RAW mode, and bracketed 3 exposures.

Inspiration

as i approached the building, the reflection of the buildings across the street caught my eye, and I wanted to get low and shoot up to capture all of the buildings in the view.

Editing

I almost always us Photomatix Pro, I have been a fan of HDR and Trey Ratcliff for a few years now.( I joined Trey on his Photowalk Across America in Atlanta????) I, and most people who view my pics are amazed at the level of detail and color it brings to the pictures

In my camera bag

I use my Sony A55 Camera, and a sigma 10-20mm lens most time, and I also have an Opteka 6.5mm fisheye lens. i use two different models of Alta tripods, and occasionally use a remote trigger for certain shots. Most shots i bracket two or three exposures, and The Sony A55 has a great night shot setting for low light shots without a flash or tripod.

Feedback

Just always be looking for the scene that captures your eye and your imagination. I will shoot almost anything if I feel there will be interest in it. Also experiment with different angles of the same subject, and camera settings. Then you can pick the best shot when you get back home.
