Location
At our farm in Seagrove, NCTime
It was early in the afternoon, between 1-2PM. That's when our cows lay down for their afternoon siesta! :)Lighting
Natural lighting, a bit of a cloudy day.Equipment
Sony WX300 and my husband as the tripod. :)Inspiration
I LOVE taking photos of our cows and this particular heifer, was the first calf born on our farm. We spoiled her ROTTEN and when her little sister was born the following year, she was extremely jealous of the attention the new calf was getting. I wanted to sit in between them and show the yearling that I could love them both!! As you can tell, she STILL wanted all the attention!Editing
I did not.In my camera bag
The only camera I carry with me on the farm is my Sony WX300. It is small enough for me to keep handy while working the cattle and easy enough to get out quickly when I need to use it!Feedback
Always carry a stick.
