In 1925, the Kansas City Plaza lights began with a single 16 bulb strand over a doorway. Now, more than 80 miles of lights decorate the shopping area from Thanksgiving evening to mid January every year. The Plaza Lights are always a part of the Christmas season for me and many others from Kansas City and beyond.
