Wow this is amazing! I loved shooting dolphins, but never got any to leap like this!

Behind The Lens

Location

Tenerife

Time

14:30

Lighting

Bright sunny day on the ocean with lots of glare, polarizing filter a definite advantage

Equipment

Canon 650D, EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens

Inspiration

Beautiful wild dolphins playing happily close to a pleasure boat

Editing

Raw file processed in ACR then Photoshop CS6, minimum processing required.

In my camera bag

This day just a camera and two lenses, longer lens wasn't useful as it was difficult to predict where the dolphins would appear.

Feedback

Try to keep the lens at wide to normal length while scanning for the dolphins to appear, and then zoom in to them as soon as they appear
