One of my favourite locations to do a family fall photoshoot in my home town is a place made famous by, and then named after, a group of seven painter. The A.Y, Jackson Lookout on the Onaping river is a great place to do a candid photoshoot. The trail, which only takes about an hour to hike, starts at a look out and follows the river upstream until you come to a bridge spanning the falls. There are several kilometres of trails on the other side of this bridge but also a trail leading back to the car park near the start of the trail.
