Wow you have two photos up and they were both impressive. Loved the angle and joyful look. Water and the green captured here is fantastic. Look forward to you posting more images. This one is an undiscovered gem!

Behind The Lens

Location

The image shows children enjoying their afternoon dip at the kawa hotbath fuelled with dried woods and sprinkled with organic leaves believed by the locals to have medicinal benefits. Hot Kawa is a very large wok which were used during war time by the sugar farmers to cook squeezed sugar cane juice to produce moscavado sugar the traditional way. In Antique Province, part of Panay island of Western Visayas Region of the Philippines, there is a remote barrio of Tibiao town called Sitio Tuno wherein they practice hotbath spa with medicinal plants picked from the surrounding forest. Locals used to take bath their children in this kawa believing that their children will become healthy and protect them from various diseases.

Time

This was taken before the sunset.

Lighting

I use my SB 900 Nikon External Flash on a remote trigger placed on a side of the Kawa Hotbath plus the warm ambient light from the setting sun.

Equipment

I shot this image using my Nikon D7000 and a Tamron 10-24mm Ultra Wide Angle lens, Nikon SB 900 Speedlight mounted on a Benro Tripod using Yongnuo remote trigger.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the innocence of these children playing in their natural ground. I want to capture the innocent smiles, the life in colour.

Editing

Yes. I am using Lightroom 5 to enhance my images. In this image I just use the cropping, dodging and burning and a little tweak on the saturation.

In my camera bag

I got my Nikon D7000 with Tamron 10-24mm UWA lens, a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 prime lens, SB 900 Speedlight, a Morris mini-slave flash, Yongnuo Remote Trigger and my Sony NEX 5TY Mirroless Camera.

Feedback

Children on their natural state are very hard to capture. Before shooting, set your camera settings first on the light you are using before mingling with them for a more natural moment.
