The Fallen

Cemeteries make me ponder the lives of those resting there, who they were, the families they belonged to, the stories of their lives. I also feel a sense of sadness and wonder, does anyone still come to visit? I presume that is the reason I am drawn to the stones that are weathered, broken, sometimes so destroyed they are just a few stones of what once was. I try very hard to not be disrespectful in anyway, but to take these long worn and possibly forgotten, and give them a chance to be thought of by others by a simple photo.
