Behind The Lens

Location

this photo was taken in the downtown area of Montreal .Most of all my photography is done in Montreal ,I just love what the city as to offer. No matter how many times you go there is always something different .

Time

I think this was taken in the afternoon, overcast day. This shot was taken a while back, the details are a bit vague.

Lighting

I like overcast days, you d'ont have to shoot with the sun at your back.Since I go out at about any time of the day,I usually try to stay on shaded side of the streets.

Equipment

I used my Nikon d80,the lens is the Nikon DX 18-135mm 3.5-5.6G ED.And the Nikon vertical grip.

Inspiration

while on a shoot day I'm constantly on the lookout for something interesting.I never walk to fast but always observing.I saw another photographer in between two columns, perfect framing.

Editing

All photos go through SNAPSEED.This shot did not need much,a bit on the lighting ,contrast,HDR and converted to B&W.

In my camera bag

well my equipment is not in my bag anymore,it's in my pocket?Broke my camera so I switched to my iPhone 6.There is no comparison to be made, but it made me shoot differently. POST-PROCESSING AND THEN SOME !!!

Feedback

Take your time and observe, choose your lighting be patient there is always a story to capture. And remember what we have been told JUST SHOOT.
