The Bluebonnet is the Texas State Flower and every Spring there are many places in Texas with fields that are covered solid with the blue flowers of this native plant. This photograph was taken near Ennis in Ellis County just South of Dallas. It was taken with a Canon 40D and an EF 28-135mm lens. The zoom was set at 47mm and taken at 1-160 sec. at f-8.0, ISO 100.
