Side-view of the Marsupial Possum. Actually highly intelligent creatures and in other countries make great pets. In NZ, this is outlawed and this generally unwelcome visitor from our neighbour, Australia, decimates our forests, indigenous and otherwise. The Department Of Conservation poisons them with a chemical called 1080..NZ uses 80% of the world's supply of this toxin. Blended with wool their fur finds its way to the posh highstret outlets the world over and is supposed to be the softest finest fur available anywhere.
