Location
The photo was taken about 3 miles northwest of where I live.Time
I shot the Sandhill cranes late in the afternoon as they were standing along a country road.Lighting
I was taking back roads home and hoping to find something to shoot.Equipment
Nikon D7000 with a Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 lens.Inspiration
I love Sandhill cranes. They're almost a prehistoric bird. They are large, noisy and, at least in our area, are becoming acclimated to people.Editing
I shoot RAW. Applied some sharpening and saturation. In my camera bag
Nikon D7000, Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-5.6, Nikon 18-300 F/3.5-5.6, Nikon SB-910 flash, and some other 'stuff".Feedback
Keep shooting...
