Having a vision impairment from iritis, glaucoma and cataracts for the past twelve years, I have found photography as a passion. I believe that this photograph portrays macular degeneration. The black spots throughout the image and black border at the bottom of the photograph, may represent the sight of a macular degeneration patient, which is ultimately a ‘sight worth saving.’ This photo was taken at Boat Harbour Beach in New South Wales, Australia.
