Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo just north of the small town I live in on the way to the airport.

Time

During Sunset (evening)

Lighting

Its all natural light!

Equipment

I had a point a shot camera, Fuji film. No flash, and no tripod. just me and my camera in one of my favorite spots to sit and watch the sun set.

Inspiration

I have loved the look of the tree for many years. The time of day was perfect, and the lighting well i couldn't have asked for better. The way this tree stood out from the rest, it was screaming for it's picture to be taken!

Editing

If I take a shot, and I like the way it looks I will normally leave it. there are times though that I do, do post-processing.

In my camera bag

I used to have my Fuji film. Just recently I have upgrades to the Nikon D3200. It goes everywhere with me!

Feedback

This picture was a matter of positioning. If i stood to far to the right I had sun flares, if I stood to far to the left there was to much shadow. It took me a few shots to get this one. Keep trying and you will always get the result you are looking for in the end.
