This was my first night on location, in the run up to sunset there had been a cloud inversion over the sea, probably about half a mile out. The inversion looked like it was going to block any direct light at the actual point of sunset, then all of a sudden, a tremendous sea fog rolled straight over us from the south. The fog diffused the light in an incredibly surreal way, the air was actually magenta! This was far more interesting to shoot than what I thought was panning out!
