I probably shot about 10 different photos as the sun set.Equipment
Shot with the Nikon D300 with a wide angle lens. Shot on a tripod as HDR with 5 exposures.Inspiration
Love to shoot the ocean at any time of the day but as we know it is more dynamic and colorful at sunset.Editing
Processed as an HDR in Photomatix and finished in PhotoShop.In my camera bag
I usually have 2 or 3 lenses from wide to a variety of long zoom lenses. I also carry cable release and flash.Feedback
Get to the area early and wait and watch as the light changes. It can go from so so to fantastic in a matter of minutes.
