This is a great capture! I really like the use of natural lighting and the really nice shadows on the left side of the girl's face - it really makes her look fantastic. I LOVE the detail you managed to capture in the hair. Really wonderful!

Location
I took this photo of my granddaughter near her home on the beach at Craignish, Queensland, AustraliaTime
The photo was taken at around 4pm on a windy, sunny day.Lighting
I made use of the natural lighting by asking my granddaughter to stand so that the one side of her face was in the shade.Equipment
I used a Nikon D800 camera with a 70mm to 200mm Nikkor lens. No flash, or tripod was used.Inspiration
The wind in her hair.Editing
I used photoshop to crop and enhance the photo a little. In my camera bag
I normally have my Nikon D800, 24-70mm and 70mm-200mm nikkor lenses plus a 90mm Tamron macro lens. I also carry, ND filters, a remote exposure switch, spare sd cards and a torch.Feedback
A good breeze, a willing model, and a 'reasonably' fast time to get a sharp image of the 'blowing' hair with slight blurring at the ends, to show the 'wind' movement effect. I tried taking images from above, at the same level and below her face but think this one came out best.
