Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my room in my parents house.

Time

I do not remember the time of day because it was taken quite a long time ago but it must've been in the day, either morning or afternoon.

Lighting

No particular lighting was used for this photo, just the sunlight for my window.

Equipment

I used the camera on my laptop (that you can even see in the photo) that reflected into the mirror of my blusher.

Inspiration

I love experimenting with photos and am fascinated by reflection and especially the way two mirrors in front of each other make a never-ending reflection!!! Some times the most random moment can turn into an exciting photo shooting session!! In the case of this photo i was probably about to put on some make up and had photo booth on on my laptop and voilà...the experimenting began!!!

Editing

I remember deciding to crop out half of my "first face" to make the photo look more interesting.

In my camera bag

I take a lot of photos with my iphone for the practicality but I love my canon 550D. For a non professional like myself it works well, and of course gives a whole different feeling to the photos. I have also recently rediscovered my polaroid camera that i have had since i was a child and was so excited to get an instant film from the IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT and see the photos develop practically under your eyes (although it takes much longer than the old internet film that were done in a few minutes...i miss them...sigh!!"

Feedback

The only advice i feel like giving is...observe...be creative!! experiment!!! and enjoy taking photos!!!
