This is one of very few surviving Mitsubishi A6M Zero-sen fighter planes. This plane is housed at the Yamato Museum. These planes, at the beginnings of WWII, were so advance in design and capabilities that they dominated the skies for the first couple of years of the war and were instrumental in the early advance of Japanese through the Pacific.
