Location
This photograph was taken on a social photo walk around London, a place I am not familiar with. The magnolia was in a built up garden area with a tall bluish coloured glass building in the background hence the hue.Time
Mid March at about 1530Lighting
Light was being reflected off the tall glass building which, with a reasonably wide aperture gave a nice defused lightEquipment
Canon EOS 70D with 75 - 300mm kit lens ISO 125 at f5.6 and 1/250.Inspiration
Essentially the light conditions and with the zoom it was easy to isolate the bloom and make it stand outEditing
A minor tweak in Aperture as i didn't have any other programmeIn my camera bag
Canon 650D with the 18 - 55 & 75 - 300 kit lenses and now the 70D as wellFeedback
Look for something different, flora in a building or light in the dark. The trick I think is to try because if you don't take the picture you will never see the result
