Yes, Nape Nape is really the name of a place!! It's on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand, a wee bit north of Christchurch and boasts some stunning dark skies. We had stopped here to do a spot of surfcasting (fishing) and were rewarded by this awesome manifestation of the Milky Way
