This is a picture of a sandpiper at Dauphin Island, AL - I live in that area 6 months of the year and as you can see - wonderful scenery at the beach. I used my Nikon P500 in taking this picture - I think it was in January of this past year - can't exactly remember time frame. I love the brown pelicans and blue herons who also reside at Dauphin Island.Time
