(Maratus splendens) Approx. 4 mm long. These amazing little spiders are vividly colored making them quite hard to photograph successfully. This is the best shot I managed to take, you have no idea how hard it is to photography this tiny spectacular. For those who have never seen a peacock spider, this is the male, when he sees a female he waves his third pair of legs around before extending and raising it's colorful abdomen. He then proceeds to seemingly dance from side to side shaking his abdomen and waving his legs.
