This photo was taken at my house in South Carolina during Fall.Time
This photo was taken on a chilly November afternoon.Lighting
I wanted to get a different perspective of the leaf hanging on the fence. So I got low to the ground for this shot. I wanted to capture the beauty and colors of the leaf, so I tried to capture the sunlight shining through.Equipment
This photo was shot on a Canon PowerShot SX500 that I received just a month before. No flash was used. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
It was Fall. I wanted to capture the colors of the season on that day. So I went wondering around the yard, looking for things that stood out to me. I wanted to get a different perspective of the leaf hanging on the fence. So I got low to the ground for this shot. I wanted to capture the beauty and colors of the leaf, so I tried to capture the sunlight shining through.Editing
I didn't do any post-processing to this photo. In my camera bag
Of course I always have my Canon PowerShot SX500 in my bag. Along with two batteries, a battery charger, two SD cards, supplies to clean my lens, and either my monopod or my tripod.Feedback
My advice would be to capture thins that stand out in your eyes. Whether it's the color, texture, contrast, etc. Also try getting different perspectives of the same object. It makes it more interesting.
