Behind The Lens

Location

This photo i have took it beside of scientific center in kuwait at gulf road.

Time

I remember waking up around 6:30 PM on the scientific center walk road, then i get my tripod from the car because i was imagining how the photo will look like with 30 sec exposure, this was taken Sep 29, 2012.

Lighting

I wanted this image to look mysterious and to grow the viewer into a scene in a story. there was some beautiful light out from the cars while there was moving away on the road, i decided the lighting will be great with long exposure which will give the story another twist of magnificent lighting.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon 550D, with an 24-60mm lens with f/10 - ISO 100 with shutter speed 30 sec.

Inspiration

I was looking for a place to take a shoot, so i took my car and i was driving then i stopped beside the scientific center in salmiya city at kuwait, i wanted something magnificent and breath taking.

Editing

Usually landscape photography requires a some post processing depend on the shoot. in this particular case, i had to develop the row image to correct the white balance with same expusere and highlight.

In my camera bag

During this shoot i Packed my camera bag with Canon 550D camera with 100mm macro lens and 70-300 mm . but i like Cannon 24-70 prime lens which is very sharp and very practical in most shot.

Feedback

The key behind a great shot is planning, timing and composition, during the planning you imagine the photo how it should be and from which view point then you select the best time that is suitable for the shot. i am always shoot with RAW format which help to get out of the image color and detailes
