I love the color of chair you chose. In the future that could very well be a throne. I also really dig the hi-heels because it gives you a business lady/secretary look which I find attractive.

Location
This photo was taken in my parents living room! I found with the positioning of the house and the kitchen window behind me that the living room acted as one big soft box.Time
This photo was taken at about 1:0 in the afternoon. Most days at this time are extremely bright. I waited until a cloudy day to relieve any blowouts of the background.Lighting
The goal in this was to have a soft white background to focus on Naomi's features: Her red hair, tatoos etc. because they give off so much color in contrast to her pale complexion.Equipment
This photo was taken with a Canon T5 with a Canon "nifty fifty" 50mm 1.8 lens. I shot on a tripod and used the built in flash turned down all the way with a diffuser.Inspiration
I had been looking to get into more portrait shooting and model work. Naomi and I are old friends so I had pokes the idea by her. What actually inspired this photo was the chair she is sitting in. It's an antique item that's been passed down. We had it reupholstered to the funky green. I was visiting home and liked the set up for a shoot.Editing
I did some small post prod in phooshop. I like to get close to the desired effect with the camera. There was a small bit or work with curves, sharpening, drop on contrast, and toning her tattoos and hair color. In my camera bag
I usually carry my T5, all Canon lenses; 10-18mm, 35mm, 50mm and a 70-300mm with polarizer. I have a shutter release for night shooting and Velbon tripod.Feedback
I set the exposure metering higher to bring out the skin tone and played with that to get a bright background and still make out the model and balance both.
