Location
This Photo was taken after a wedding at Occasions by the Bay, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. We were just a few steps away from the Bay of Quinte in a small field.
Time
It was about 4:30 on a Saturday, the wind was calm and the sky was cloudy
Lighting
I was using two Soft Boxes to light up the Groomsmen, and a speed-light behind the grooms leg to brighten up the girls. It was overcast so the natural lighting was even
Equipment
This was shot with a Canon EOS 7D, the lens was a Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC. No tripod was used. I had two soft boxes mounted on light stands, and a third speed-light behind the grooms leg. Wireless Flash Triggers were used.

Inspiration
I was trying to come up with new ideas for wedding party shots. After being inspired by other photogs ideas I came up with a few variations of my own - using the peeking through method. I love creative shots. Being creative inspires me.
Editing
I always Shoot RAW so Post is always required. I use Lightroom (version 6 now). Adding clarity, deepening the blacks, adding contrast and sharpening the image.
In my camera bag
Canon 5DM3, Canon 7D, Tamron 24-70 2.8VC, Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS, Tamron 90mm Prime Macro, 8 LP-E6 batteries, 5 Sets of PixelKIng Wireless Triggers, 2 x 580exii Flash units, 2 430exii Flash Units
Feedback
Make sure you are using a sloping down ground, Before positioning the girls, be laying down at grass level. Then ask the girls to move slightly until everyone is in view between the Groomsmen's legs
