Behind The Lens

Location

This photo of Kharma was taken at our local pool for Doggie Dive Day. This was her first time in the water. A friend of mine was walking her while I was photographing all the other dogs. I saw her from a distance and yelled her name and she came charging at me. Causing the water to fly up all around her. I was worried she was going to knock me and my camera equipment down into the water. But she didn’t. This has been one of my favorite photos of Kharma. It shows her soul and her energy. She was about 2 when this was taken. I rescued her from our local animal shelter. I take that back she picked us. She is one of the sweetest Pit Mix I have ever been around. She has made me a pit lover.

Time

It was taken in early evening around 6pm

Lighting

It was a beautiful sunny summer evening. So the sun was in the west and made for great lighting on her!

Equipment

My camera is a Cannon T3i

Inspiration

It was being at the right spot a at the right time.

Editing

The only thing I did to the photo was tweek the color just slightly to make the color pop.
