This was taken on the River Stour at Dedham, on the Essex/Suffolk border, part of 'Constable Country'.Time

I was totally relying on the sunrise to perform for the lighting. As you can see, it did!Equipment
I used a Nikon D800 with a Nikon 24-85 lens at 24mm, ISO 50, f/16, 0.4 secs, set on a tripod.Inspiration
I like being out in nature, plus this is very close to where I live so I know the area. When the weather forecast is good, that's the inspiration I need.Editing
I processed the image using 3 shots, one for the highlights, one for the midtones and one for the shadows.In my camera bag
This depends if I'm doing landscapes or wildlife. If landscapes, I now have the Nikon D810, so that is the first thing along with my 24-85 and 70-200. If wildlife, my Nikon D4S and Nikon 600mm along with my 300mm and D810, x1.4 and x2.0 teleconvertors, and 150mm macro.Feedback
Get up early and be at your location at least 30 mins before sunrise. You wont always get the right conditions so be prepared to return until you do.
