Location
This was taken at the jetty at Flinders Victoria. It is mazing just watching the tides coming in. I believe it was early Autumn.Time
It was taken late afternoon as the fisherman were on the jetty catching the fish. Under the jetty all one could hear was the waves.Lighting
As the tide was coming in, I tried to capture the rippling effect of the waves and the reflection of the jetty.Equipment
This was shot with my Canon 6D Lens 24-105mm lens. I had used a tripod.Inspiration
I was trying to catch the light at the end of the jetty. I love the old piers and the wash of the waters. It was a cloudy day so I was hoping to catch some reflections.Editing
I normally use PS to add the wow factor to my images....keeping it simple by using adjustment levels and curves only.In my camera bag
My bag is light...it would have the Canon 17-40mm lens and Lens Filter and ND filters. In addition I always carry cleaning cloth and torch. The tripod is carried outside the bag.Feedback
To capture images for jetties..one has to watch the tides. The image will change according to the light...of course sunrise and sunset are great. They are also good to do long exposures to have the smooth effect.
