Location
This photo was taken in Blaine, Washington across the bay from my home in White Rock British Columbia. I love to photograph old and abandoned objects.The location is the site of a deserted boat building yard,I love to go there to explore with my cameraTime
This shot was taken late morning slight overcast.Lighting
Lighting was nothing special,slightly overcast along for shadow and highlight details.Equipment
Shot with Fuji XE-1,10-24mm lens.I used the Velvia setting to help punch up the colorInspiration
I am not pigeon holed to any one type of photography, I find the challange in creating a photo that feels right to me.This felt right.Editing
I do not do a lot of post processing,perhaps a little burning and dodging, spotting etc.....basic darkroom stuff.In my camera bag
I use exclusively a Fuji XE- 1 Wwith either a 10-24 mm or 50-200 mm . I love this combination as it is small and light while giving me the flexibility and quality I like.Feedback
To me a photograph is a personal thing.If I feel it come together in the view finder I take it.Look at it in different angles, make it I interesting, tell a story.
