Um garoto se diverte nadando no rio que cerca a comunidade do Mangue Seco (Santos - SP) totalmente alheio à sujeira a sua volta.
As palafitas não possuem encanamento, então todo o esgoto e lixo são jogados diretamente nas águas do rio, poluindo e contribuindo para o aumento de ratos na região.
Definitivamente, ele é um verdadeiro "filho da maré".

The stilt houses have no plumbing, so all the sewage and garbage are dumped directly into the river, polluting and contributing to the increase of rats in the region.
