Location
The image of the jetty was taken on the atoll of Rangiroa, which is undoubtedly one of the greatest, most wonderful and most iconic atolls in the world, and the highest point is at a mere 5 meters above the level waters. Atoll, one still visible part of an ancient collapsed volcano ocean on itself due to its own weight and form a reef erosion now lost in the Pacific waters. The atoll is located in French Polynesia in the archipelago of Tuamotus, it is a leading destination for diving enthusiasts and underwater sharks in this area are protected and respected. We meet in addition to the black tip sharks also gray reef sharks that abound in this place as the "Wall of gray" .... also very regularly a bottle nose dolphins troupe comes to visit the pass and surf the waves. outside the two main passes that let in and out twice a day christalines turbulent waters, is the vastness of the Pacific just grip and break these boxes coral and greenery. these little people atolls are ideal to come to honeymoon or for relaxing too. these waters also in the middle of the main lagoon of almost 80 km2 is cultivated treasure. the great treasure of Polynesia, the pearly pearl. This image is not for me than just a memory ... when I came inspiration for this photo, I did not have to think long. now not happen probably not ..... very little development I must say, a reflex shot. just capture the moment ...In my camera bag
now my equipment is more consistent and at least in my case more than a Nikon D3100 dslr armed with a basic objective afs 18/55 mm I constantly a wide-angle, fisheye has a small telephoto macro 55/300 standard. as well as a compact tripod. 650/1300 mm telephoto also came complete my range recently. it is useful and important to be well equipped for not regret letting out a great potential image. this is my idea after all but a soldier not part in the battle with tong's and armed with a pistol cap. I do not always forget to take my small digital just in case technology fails. I can only advise everyone to do the same because it is nothing more pathetic than a frustrated photographer, my experience authentic.Feedback
