This photo was shot with a Nikon D3200, Nikkor 18-55mm lens.

Inspiration

Me and my wife met out wedding photographer down at the beach and were taking photos with him as I was learning how to use manual mode better. He gave me the idea to try to get the waves in the picture by getting the camera right on the ground.

Editing

I used Light Room to touch up the photo and bring out the actual colors of the sunset.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my Nikon D3200, Nikkor 18-55mm lens, bower flash and sigma 70-300mm lens.

Feedback

Take as many different angles as possible and do not be afraid to get dirty or get your camera dirty.
