Preparing for partial eclipse. Canon EF 75-300mm III lens, coupled with cheap x2 telephoto, ND4 filter, really cheap tripod and remote operating cable.

Tripod set low to avoid wind - camera shake, coupled with a broken back made for a lot of pain trying to find and make adjustments to this photo. I would definitely recommend (and will be) spending more on a decent heavy tripod. Auto-focus had a hard time when coupled with the 2x telephoto. Perhaps use an ND8 filter with longer exposure, assuming the tripod remains stable. Clouds... hate them :D
