Taken on the shores of Kachemak Bay in Homer Alaska. I am very blessed to get images as this. For some reason the one eagle really didn't like the one ready to fly, and was really ticked off at it. I believe this is a very rare image.

Sorry had to finish on this one...my other secret is that most of my shots are taken from 25ft. to 50ft. away...my passion is eagles and I get to spends hundreds of hours with them...I am blessed...regards Mike

I would hate to be the bate for those claws!! What a amazing series of photos. I went Eagle hunting in Minden Nv, only 1. I think they all got the message and went and hid so I coulnt get the photo.

We visited Alaska in the 90's and I recall we parked the RV near a rocky shore like this and woke up in the AM to a large group of Bald Eagles. This photo reminds me of that morning. Very envious, we get excited in Texas if we have one Bald Eagle nest. Great Shot :) Kathy
