Location
The photo was taken at my inlaws country home somewhere in Valcea County, Romania, in a village lying at the foothills of Carpathyans. It was a beautiful October day and I was on the house’s porch facing the hen yard over which there is a vine growing.Time
It was just after I had lunch, around 2 p.m. so my motherinlaw’s dishes were a gastronomic satisfaction. Thus having no other worries I let my photo inspiration flow :)Lighting
Stay away from light! Just kidding :) The sky was partly overcast but when the sun wasn’t behind the clouds it shined a beautiful strong light and contrast was alike. There were some random reflections but I used a circular polarizing filter to have them supressed. From what I recall the sun didn’t shine when I took the photo.Equipment
I used a handheld Sony Alpha350 with a Tamron lens (18-250mm f/3.5-6.3).Inspiration
I was inspired by the vivid colors of decaying nature in the middle of autumn and the quiet atmosphere that I found in the countryside as opposed to the life in the capital - Bucharest.Editing
I usually don’t do post-processing as I like my photos as captured.In my camera bag
Most of the time I carry my Sony SLT77, two Tamron lens (the one mentioned above and one 18-50mm, f/2.8) and a Sony 50mm, f/1.8 lens, a wireless remote control, an extra battery pack, UV and circular polarizing filters and a small tripod.Feedback
