I took this Photo at Woodward Park in Tulsa, OK. It's a Popular Park in Tulsa for All Kinds of pictures, Family, Senior, Children, Pets, Scenery, Beautiful Flowers etc. A Lot of people take pictures there!!!Time
This was mid afternoon, when the sun wasn't too harsh. This was one of Christy's High School Senior Pictures. Since then Christy joined the Army and she is stationed over in Hawaii.Lighting
I am always aware of the weather, I really like more Cloudy days then Bright Sun, because of the glares and shadows.Equipment
I used a SONY AX57 Digital Camera for this shot and I usually Always use my Telephoto, I stand back from the subject and zoom in. I ALWAYS shoot in Manuel. My Telephoto is a SONY 4.5 to 5.8 Aperture and 300 mm I did not use a tripod or a flash.Inspiration
Christy wanted me to take her Senior Pictures because she liked my photography, and I Really Enjoyed taking pictures of Christy, she is SO PHOTOGENIC, BEAUTIFUL and Easy to shoot.Editing
I do NOT shoot in Raw, NEVER have. I just shoot natural and in Manual. In my camera bag
I normally just carry my camera with the 300mm Lens, 4.5 - 5.6 Aperture in it and I Also pack a ProMaster 20 to 80 mm 3.5 to 5.6 Aperture Lens.Feedback
I tell the Subject where I want them to sit or stand, I ALWAYS look for distractions like people near buy, I NEVER put a person right in front of a Tree, where it looks like it's coming out of their head, I ask them to be natural, and I ALWAYS make sure that their Hair is NOT in their face covering up their eyes. I ALWAYS like to shoot when the wind is only about 5 miles an hour or 7. Try NOT to shoot when the Wind is stronger than 10 miles an hour. I ALWAYS look at the sun to see if there will be any shadows on the subjects face or faces if I am doing a couple or a group. I just want them to be NATURAL and HOPEFULLY I get the BEST shot that will show the real them. And Last but not least, ALWAYS focus on the EYES!!!
