This photo was taken in Los Angeles, in a eclectic neighborhood known as Abbott-Kinney district. It is an image of merchandise display.Time
It was taken mid-day. Lighting in the time of day was not a major factor. The available lighting was from inside the store.Lighting
The merchandise display I thought was so unique. Once I'd made corrections to the image I felt it looked best in B&W.Equipment
I used a Canon 5D and 28 mm lensInspiration
My inspirationf or the photo was that as a still life I could not have set it up any better than the merchandise display in the store. So I took advantage of that.Editing
Yes I did do a lot of digital manipulation to the original image by 1st creating HDR and then turn it to B&WIn my camera bag
I use 3 sources to capture images. Canon Mark 3, Sony 6500 mirrorless and my cell phone.Feedback
My advice for others is to search out excellent merchandising that's original.
